Well first major piece of news we should probably talk about is how we're getting ever so nearer to getting a Parkour park in Kings Lynn... We have ameeting with some park designers tomorrow and we'll be throwing all the ideas we have and what you guys have came up with too! This Looks Niiiiiiiice Posted 29th Jan, 2012 Well it's been a good year since we updated the site with a new layout but maybe it was time to have a good clear out of the WHOLE site and clean it up BIG time by creating a whole new layout, which unfortunately we did have a few minor problems with but all resolved now, a whole new concept of how we get you to follow us, new ways of looking and we just thought it would look a little more professional anyway. Well now that everything's all cleaned up and sorted and back to normal, how's about we get back to some PK4LYF! That sounds awesome to us as that's all we're about up in here! After the network AND server both repeatedly crashing on us whilst trying to do the upload... We FINALLY got our new shop up and running with all pages thrown up as well so there shouldn't be any problems now... BUT if there is, you can just let us know what these problem are our Shop Contact page. You can just rop us a little comment saying what the problem is and we'll fix it! We hope you all like the new designs we've created as they're more about free running in general and not so much about us as a team. See you all soon boys and girls! Time To Drop Some Info On Y'all Posted 10th Jan, 2012 We've got quite a few lovel bits of info for you all today so read carefully! First piece of info we should inform you of is that classes are back! Yes, as of THIS Saturday evening (same time of 6:30 - 8:00) we will be starting to rehost our classes at Lynnsport as it's now the new year. Secondly, our new shop will be going live in only 8 days with a complete new set of fresh tasty designs for you beautiful people. Thirdly, we've found out that Lifestyles will be taking place sooner this year than it was last year. This year, it will be taking place on the 1st to the 3rd (still Friday to Sunday as usual) of JUNE, a whole MONTH earlier! Countdown has been updated so you can see when EXACTLY Lifestyles will be taking place! We can happily say we WILL be performing on the Saturday & Sunday and also holding workshops during the Friday but unfortunately that will mainly be school kids. If we have a spare five though, you can always join in! What else?... OOH!!! In a few days/weeks our new YouTube account will also be going live so check that out soon as well. A link will be passed around pretty much everywhere, I can assure you. Check back soon for some more deligtful info. MERRY NEW YEAR!!! Posted 3rd Jan, 2012 FIRST POST OF 2012!!! WOOOO!!! So who's excited for the new year then? No one? Nah, us neither... Just gonna be another sucky year where we go out and jump off things like kids and 'cause agro to old people who can't stand anyone younger than them. HOLD ON A TICK!!! We LOOOOOOVE doing that. That's our favourite thing to do and we hope it's yours too! Well anyways, let's get down to some real news. As it's the new year, we've decided maybe it's time to update the shop a bit and get some fresh tasty new designs out for all you lovely peple out there. Along with making some sexy new designs for you to rep up, we've had a bit of winter cleaning on our shop and tidied the bugger up a bit. Now you will be able to see our products in more ease and we think you will aproove of the new layout, BUT all that you will have to wait and see until we decide to throw it all up on here... WE'RE MAKING IT SNOW BI*CHES Posted 22nd Dec, 2011 As you may have noticed, the site has been engullfed in some damn good Christmas spirit and has been hit by some snow. We know it's not real but so far, this could be the only snow this part of England may get for the Christmas holidays so why not enjoy it here with us. Okay, enough about the snow... As we're nearing the end of this beautiful year, we will be holding a new years eve jam here in Kings Lynn!!! Hopefully by then, we MAY have some real snow or if not, it just won't be too cold or wet out to train... Hell, even if it is, we'll no doubt still hold it anyway for ships ad giggles! We're Taking A Short Break Posted 19th Dec, 2011 As we're in the last few weeks of December, we had our last class on Saturday until the new year. Thanks to al of those who came and made it a fun little end of year jam class session. Was a good night even with a few injuries... Big or small. For now though, we will not be holding any sessions until some point in the new year (dates are undecided yet) as soon as we know the dates we will be starting up again, we will inform you all as soon as possible so you know when to get heading back to Lynnsport for some more amazing Parkour love from KLFR. We hope that you all get what you hope for for Christmas but that means you all have to be good boys and girls for your mummies and daddies otherwise you'll be getting nothin' but COOOOOOOAL. We seemed to have sold nearly most of our products in the last few hours of the sale. We didn't expect that at all so thank you to everyone who did make a purchase with us but unfortunately now, it has all gone back up to to usual price but you never know... Maybe another day soon or whenever, we might have another sale and prices might get knocked even lower and for longer. Who knows, only time will tell and site will show. Clean This Up Would Ya! Posted 25th Nov, 2011 It's about time that KLFR had a clear up on the site. Having a clear up on the site won't be the only thing happening though... Week in, week out, you'll notice subtle little changes to the site, our YouTube account, our Facebook, our shop and our galleries. We need to start making an effort to make KLFR the most sexiest free running team across the globe! So keep an eye out and maybe you can notice a few hidden things on the site but they will NOT be mentioned... You will have to find them yourself and email us what they are. If you find enough. You could end up winning yourself a beautiful new KLFR t-shirt. So here it is. We've noticed that not many of you, our lovely fans, have been purchasing one of our t-shirts meaning we're not going to be releasing any hoodies as of yet! But what we have decided to do is to have a sale, yes that's right, KLFR are holding a sale on ALL t-shirts!!! The sale will last for 2 days. The date of the sale has not been decided as of yet but we will inform you with plenty of time to count your pennies and raid behind the cushions on your sofas and beg from your parents so don't worry that you'll miss out because we'll make sure you al don't! Keep an eye out everyone for sale date! We're Back In Business Posted 1st Nov, 2011 Well we've had 2 weeks off for Lynnsport to hold their events booked on the last 2 weekends. BUT... Classes are back on this Saturday on Bonfire night at the same usual time of 6:30pm - 8pm! If you'd like to join us during the evening please, don't hesitate but if you'd like to spend time with your family members or at the Walks or wherever it is you're planning on going for the evening, then obviously that's fine too, we just hope you have fun! Bit Late Notice?? Posted 1st Oct, 2011 Hi there everybody! Okay, many apologies to quite a few of you all today. We'll first start off with informing all the angry parents and children that our classes ARE back on this weekend, we did announce on Facebook but unfortunately, this has been the ONLY time I have been able to update the news feed recently. I'm so very sorry everyone and we hope you can make it still. Secondly, we'd just like to make a HUGE apology to our customers (even if it is only 2) for their products being delayed for SO long, there has been some major knocks in order of getting these t-shirts sorted out, printed and posting but be assured that they WILL be hitting the post office today with your names on them! (not on the t-shirt of course but you get the idea). So once again, we are all very sorry for the big mistakes that have occurred recently and we're doing everything in our path to correct ourselves. Sorry everyone. Much love to all of our fans out there! A Little Bit Of Confusion Posted 19th Sep, 2011 We apologise for the confusion we led you on but this week we do have classes again. Last Saturday we didn't have classes as Lynnsport had an event on that date and we thought that we didn't have classes for 2 weeks meaning this week too but there was a slight confusion in dates and actually we should be back on this weekend at the same time of 6:30-8:00 like every other week. We're not changing anything, everything is still the same. Can't wait to see you all again guys and girls. I think I'm getting withdrawl symptoms from not coaching... Is that strange?? I think not! Time Has Come Posted 27th Aug, 2011 Well as you've all been waiting for it, the time has come and our online SHOP is now online for you all to buy (currently) our t-shirts and when we get enough sales... I Guess Now's The Time Posted 14th Aug, 2011 So as you've all been waiting patiently to know, we have happily announced over our FACEBOOK page that... Here it goes... We're pregnant. Okay no we're not... We're all males, that would be impossible. No but seriously, the news we're happy to announce is that as of Saturday we are officially opening a KLFR shop where you can buy your very own KLFR clothing. For now, we're just keeping it as our favourite t-shirt designs but as we go along... If we get enough interest, we will start selling hoodies and zip hoodies. But for them, you will have to wait until we get some ourselves and see if their worth releasing for you all. But as we say on our Facebook page, we were hoping to be opening the shop as of Saturday just gone but we've had some technical difficulties with our bank and PayPal but HOPEFULLY it's all sorted now, ready for the opening on this coming Saturday. Sorry there hasn't been so much info thrown up on here lately but there's just not been a lot of things that need to be said during the last few weeks to months. But here we are, throwing some info up for you guys now to say "Hey, we're still here. Don't go anywhere, we haven't". Although we haven't had much information for you guys to read about, we would like to tell you that we have some big stuff working at the minute and we're hoping to be able to release the info on what it is we're working on as soon as so you can all get excited and giddy like a bunch of year 4 school girls over Justin Beiber... Woah, you're gonna be a handful to deal with... Sorry. As for merchandise, we're still working as hard as we can to get some moolah (money if you don't understand) to start getting them made in bulk. Things are moving... SLOWLY but they are moving so just keep an eye out and keep peeled everyone! Something Went Wrong There Posted 18th July, 2011 Looks like it's all over guys and girls but it truly did turn out to be an alright weekend at Lifestyles. At first it was kinda pants with the weather throwing it down on us on the Saturday. Luckily we had a chance to do some workshops and have a nice chill out by the tents on Friday night but it was suddenly ruined by the rain over Saturday. Thank God for Sunday though, the weather held out JUST long enough for us to do a performance with the sun brightly shining. We have had it filmed and had some beautiful photos taken from the wonderful AIRSHOT PHOTOGRAPHY, and we should have a video put together with some of the footage we got shot from one of the Airshot members. Thank you for your helping hand by the way... Much appreciated. But for now, we must crack on with the edit and get it out as soon as possible... So speak soon guys and girls!!! This'll Get Your Attention Posted 01st July, 2011 So we have some pretty awesome news that we can finally announce fully to the world... Urban Freeflow have offered us a chance to have a full issue of JUMP Mag about us with questions and pictures of and about the team to be released this month. We've been working so hard on trying to get everything sorted out for the issue that we haven't really had time to post any new news and info up here on the site which we apologise dearly for. But anyways, for those of you who don't know, JUMP Mag is safe to say, the largest online magazine for Parkour/Free Running on the block and damn you if you haven't read it. JUMP Mag consists of interviews with practitioners/teams, pressure tests, worldwide photography of PK/FR and not to say the least, but also some pretty good bail Mary footage. And this month, we've been given the chance to be in the magazine so keep an eye out for when we post it about everywhere. It's Been A While Posted 19th June, 2011 Sorry it's been a while since our last post on here guys and girls but we've been hella busy lately trying to sort out our new showreel, our classes, etc. But we're here now and just in time to remind you all that Lifestyles is JUST around the corner. It's just under a month away it's the 2011 Lifestyles Festival gets underway and we're all out in the sunny place of Hunstanton. We can't wait and we hope that you can't either. And It's All Over Posted 11th May, 2011 We can happily announce that we have CLOSED the 'Find The Finney' competition as of today. We'd like to say a huge thank you to all of those who took part in the competition and entered with your answers but there could only be one winner and after a bit of random selection to help us, we found our winner to be Jordan Sheppard so thank you Jordan and your t-shirt will be on it's way soon. In a few hours, we will upload some images to our FACEBOOK page (and also here on the site) with the answers to show you where he was actually hiding in the 5 grids. The Competitions Have Begun Posted 27th Apr, 2011 We're back from a busy schedule and we can NOW announce that our FIND THE FINNEY competition has officially started as of today. We've taken 5 photos from around Kings Lynn in the most common places we train at and Jamie is hidden somewhere in all 5 images. These images are gridded so you can find him a bit easier and also tell us where YOU think he is. If you think you have all the correct places, send us your answers with in order of which image he is in no. 1 - 5 on each grid with your shirt size to findthefinney@klfr.co.uk. The winner will be decided on a lucky dip of names who got them all right and they win a KLFR T-shirt with a tiny Finney hidden somewhere on it in their size so don't forget to mention what size you are. It's The Lifestyles Countdown Posted 13th Apr, 2011 Okay, we had the 2011 Lifestyles Festival launch day a few days back and since then, we have been trying to get some stuff sorted out and filmed for our showreel and classes, it's a bit hectic at the minute so please be patient with us. Although we've been busy, we've had a few spare minutes to just update the site and include a new page for you all... The new page has a countdown timer for the official start to the Lifestyles Festival. St. Eastermess Plans Posted 10th Apr, 2011 In the Easter holidays, which we have now officially started as it's the first weekend leading into the Easter holiday period, we can gladly announce the plans of the Easter sessions at Lynnsport. Well what's happening is we're holding a 1 hour, 30 minute workshop starting at 16:15 - 17:45 (04:15pm - 07:45pm in simple terms) on 14th and 21st, where we will be going through everything we can with you to make sure you burn off all them calories your going to get eating lots and lots of chocolate Easter eggs. Don't worry, we'll have to too. ANOTHER thing... Now this is very important so pay attention. As of next week on 16th April, the classes times have CHANGED to an earlier time of 18:30 - 20:00 (06:00pm - 08:00pm) as it will make it a lot easier for most of you guys and us. Lifestyles Launch Day Posted 7th Apr, 2011 So yesterday (the 6th) was the official launch date of the Lifestyles event in Hunstanton and 5 of our boys took a trip down there and had a photoshoot with a few people from the press and design companies and also had some interviews done which should be in Friday's Lynn News. The day was quite fun, they travelled to Hunstanton, starting off at Lynnsport, on a Lifestyles decorated bus by Norfolk Green who are one of this years official sponsors. The guys got some footage and some photos. The photos will be added to the site in due time, Just be patient. As for video, that will be getting thrown together into a small edit and put up on our YouTube account when it's finished. Royal Wedding Festivities Posted 5th Apr, 2011 We were have been asked to do a demonstration and possibly a few workshops on 1st May for the Royal Wedding Festival in Hunstanton. The festival will have lots of other fun things up there as well as us but we will be located around the Warehouse Clearance shop area. Our demonstration is at around 11:00 so make sure you're there to watch it all go down. Give Us A Hand Posted 29th Mar, 2011 So we have this friend from the council, Paul Lusher, and he's organized an event for the opening on FATE. Fate is a drop in youth enterprise based in Fairstead Estate, King's Lynn. You may be asking "What the hell is it about??" Well, FATE is to encourage the teens around the surrounding areas between the ages of 14 - 17 to explore their potential and grow as individuals and one day, allow them to follow their goals and dreams. They offer the best DJ equipment, art and crafts, c card, life skills, chance to gain qualifications etc. The list is endless. As for the event, it's being held at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday Market Place, King's Lynn, on 30th April from 8pm till 11:30pm (doors open at 7:30pm). The event is strictly for teenagers aged 14 - 17. Admission is simply by ticket, selling for only £3.50 on sale at the Corn Exchange as of 1st April (limited to 600 tickets). So today, a small group of the team had a discussion and we decided that his time has come and we wanted him to join the league of awesomeness, so we'd like you all to welcome our newest team member, Jack Bennett into KLFR. We're Back Posted 24th Mar, 2011 So it's Thursday 24th Marc which means in only 2 days, we get to coach all you LOVELY people again on Saturday. So far, we've had the feeling of coaching for only 2 weeks being qualified but we're improving as fast as we can so you get more and more used to us coaching you all. Just remember you lovely lot... See you all Saturday guys and girls. A Short Break Posted 13th Mar, 2011 Okay guys, we've got some bad news. Although we've only just got the classes up and running again, we will be taking a short break so next Saturday (19th) there will be NO classes. So please do not go to Lynnsport asking about the Parkour classes because you would've just wasted your time. The reason behind there being no classes is because there's some sort of event or something happening (even we're not quite sure) but the hall has been booked out for that. Buuuuuut, here's the good news, it will be back the week after on the 26th. "AWESOME, YES!!!" I hear you all saying to yourself. Well that's what we want to hear. So hopefully we will see you all in 2 weeks time back at Lynnsport. Lifestyles 2011 Posted 9th Mar, 2011 WOO!!! Proper buzzin guys. Okay so here's the news. Last year (2010) we done a couple of demonstrations at the Lifestyles Extreme Sports and VW Festival in Hunstanton and guess what... WE'RE BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR!!! Yep, that's right. We've spoken to Tony Devonish and he wants KLFR to be back again this year doing more demos and this time, more workshops as we now have our 2 qualified coaches Who will be there for the whole 3 days. I think we're all really excited about it this year because we should have no worries about setting up and for our own space this time unlike last year. The New Beginning Posted 8th Mar, 2011 Considering we had our first class on Saturday, we did think a new video would be needed to show the new and improved KLFR Parkour classes that are now officially being held at Lynnsport's Leisure Centre in King's Lynn. The Reopening Posted 5th Mar, 2011 So last night, the KLFR team had the reopening of our classes for 2011. The new classes are still held at Lynnsport but just this time, it's actually KLFR teaching. This had all happened in the first place thanks to Adam Garford for getting Jamie and Stephen on the A.D.A.P.T Parkour coaching course all the way up in London. And without the help of our old friends, NRPK, we wouldn't have had much experience in the first place to get this far on our own so a big thank you to them guys too. Back to last night. It was an absolute, incredible success for our first actual class coaching by ourselves. The kids enjoyed it, the parents seemed to like watching it all in all, we the coaches had an awesome time coaching you all as well. After that, then decide to change the password so we can't access it anymore not knowing the new password they were clever enough to make up for us. "Why didn't you just click the forgo my password button?" We tried that... A few times. We received nothing in our email. So we also tried "Forgot my username", there you have to type in your email address registered to the account... Well funnily enough they changed that too. What a cock. Posted 21st Jan, 2011 Okay so for those of you lovely people out there who don't know already... On March 5th (that's only 59 days from today), KLFR has put in a LOAD of effort to have a grand reopening to the KLFR Parkour classes at Lynnsport. We're happy to announce that the KLFR movie script, Sell Out, is finished. Now it's all over and done with, we now need some of you people to help us be a part in the production when we get around to filming which should HOPEFULLY be started in late January, February time. 'Sell Out' Posted 25th Nov, 2010 As hard as we've been working on our KLFR movie script. It's not QUITE finished yet. The script should hopefully be finished by the end of the year and if so, we will be starting on the production, getting this film shot and edited. Posted 14th Sep, 2010 Okay, so some of you may have heard (some others may not have) but if you have heard about KLFR making a film it IS true. We're putting in the most hardest effort we can to make this film as amazing as we can for you guys to enjoy. When we say we're making a film, we don't mean like a 10 minute one for YouTube, don't be silly. We're going all out and making an hour long + film for all of the KLFR fan base to love and enjoy. We have recently just reached the 9th scene in writing the script making the amount of pages a massive 32 pages long... SO FAR. There is more to come, and we need AT LEAST another 3 scenes to make our film as long as we want it. The finished piece will be available to buy on a DVD. Cut The Crap Posted 29th Aug, 2010 Some of you may have heard, others may have not, KLFR are not carrying on their classes for a short while (hopefully we won't have to stop for too long). Well That Was A Success Posted 12th July, 2010 So the Lifestyles Festival was a great success and we are proud to announce that over the weekend we had the BIGGEST turn out for a crowd that we have EVER had in our lifetime. There was roughly a good couple of thousand people who were at Livfestyles watching the all events and KLFR most definitely got at least half to nearly all of the crowds attention. We at KLFR had such a fun time taking part in the Lifestyles 2010 Festival and we are definitely hoping we can take part in the next years to come. Lifestyles Update Posted 1st July, 2010 Okay so the Lifestyles festival is only one week away, this means that KLFR have had a little look see at our structure for the event and damn it is pretty awesome, credit to HIGHLINE EXTREME for building it. This Saturday (3rd July) KLFR will be taking a trip up to Hunstanton, where the festival will be held, to film a video to be shown in the beer tent. Give It A Week Or Two Posted 28th March, 2010 Parkour classes have stopped for 2 weeks whilst we have an Easter break. The classes will be starting back up on the 17th of April. BUT, we have more news than just this... When we return for the classes, they won't be in the gymnastics hall anymore, oh no. They will be in the Sports Hall, same location, Lynnsport, same time, 18:30 - 20:30, same rules, only Parkour no flips, same people, KLFR & NRPK. We all hope you have a nice Easter holiday. KLFR Classes Posted 12th March, 2010 We in KLFR would just quickly like to thank all of you who attend our Parkour Classes at Lynnsport Gymnasium every Saturday since the start of them on the 20th February. This is because Lynnsport have double booked on this date so we will be in before their other booking. First Class Posted 21st February, 2010 The first class of the many KLFR classes turned out as a MAJOR success. We're definitely happy with the turn out. It was an amazing 2 hours with all the kids who wanted to learn new things and progress on some old things. We'd like to shout out a BIG thank you for everyone who came to the class and a huge shout out to both Matthew (Dickie) and Lukman for giving us a hand. The evening was a massive laugh, we had a total number of 27 people come to the class. Hopefully we can get a full class of 30, make sure you're there next week people. Lifestyles '10 Posted 8th December, 2009 Okay guys, it can officially be announced that KLFR will be taking part in next years Lifestyles festival based in Hunstanton, down at the pier by the sea front. The 2010 Lifestyles festival will take place on the 9th, 10th & 11th of July. 3 members of KLFR met up with Tony Devonish (organiser of Lifestyles) and spoke with him about either getting our own set-up for the show or getting a pre-made set-up brought down for us. Either way, we will definitely blow your freaking minds. KLFR will not be the only people there doing shows of course as it is a festival. The other shows will consist of BMXing, Skateboarding, Inline skating and Kite surfing championships. Not to forget the green with the amazing amount of VW vans what you should all check out.
